LAKEWOOD, CO – As spring gets closer, is your green thumb itching? Do you wish you could garden, but don't have the space or the land?

Expanding Lakewood's community gardens will be the topic of a special meeting Saturday, Mar. 2 at 9 a.m. at the Westwoods Community Church, 7700 W. Woodard Drive.

As part of city council member Dana Gutwein's Ward 2 meeting, participants can hear from guest speakers who will share experiences about, "starting a community garden, joining a community garden, and how they are expanding in Lakewood," the city council member said in a press release.
