  1. Out of cities with populations over 100,000, Denver's crime ratings are in the top 10 rates for multiple crimes, including auto theft, property crime and rape. Denver's crime rate is 58% higher than Colorado's crime rate, indicating this is not a statewide problem. (Fox 31)
  2. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood metropolitan area's inflation increased 0.9% between November and January. Among the reported statistics, groceries have notably increased 11.5% in the past year, while housing costs increased 9.4%. (The Denver Post)
  3. CommonSpirit Health and AdventHealth, which make up Centura Health, have decided to separate professionally. The announcement specified that "There will be no disruption to patient care," but failed to mention what will happen to those employed by Centura Health. (The Denver Post)
