Here are the top four stories today in Lakewood:
- The 17-year-old student responsible for the shooting at East High School was found dead in Park County. His death has been ruled a suicide. Austin Lyle was already on a diversion program after being charged for possessing a dangerous weapon in late 2021. Part of the program was security checks at school, like the one that was occurring at the time of the shooting. (The Denver Post)
