- As benefits decrease back to pre-pandemic amounts, Jefferson County has other options for those in need of extra help. One of these options is the Community Table food pantry, which is open from 12:00 PM to 3:45 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. It is also open from 10:00 AM until 3:45 PM on Thursdays and from 12:00 PM to 5:45 PM on Wednesdays (besides the second Wednesday of the month, when it is closed). (Douglas County News Press)
- Ski resorts are now using dynamic pricing, much like airplane or concert tickets, to encourage people to purchase tickets in advance and to manage crowd control. Many critics, however, are seeing this as an act of price gouging. (The Denver Post)
