Gov. Furlough Help Available From Food Bank Of The Rockies
Pop-up emergency food bank sites will be held throughout metro Denver this week for furloughed workers, and others, the food bank said.
DENVER, CO – As the federal government shutdown lurches into its third week, Food Bank of the Rockies is hosting multiple pop-up multiple food bank locations to distribute both fresh and non-perishable items to families affected.
No government ID is required, the agency said.
"You do not need to be a federal employee to receive help," the food bank posted on their Facebook page. "We know the shutdown affects many families."

Food bank recipients will receive several items, "some may be on the heavier side," the agency said. "Please be sure to bring something(s) to carry these items in. Ex: Boxes, laundry hampers, tote bags, etc."
