Lakewood Man, 51, IDed As Flagger Killed In Traffic Accident
Sean Keller was killed Wednesday in an accident at a road construction site, the Colorado State Patrol said.

ADAMS COUNTY, CO— the Colorado State Patrol identified a Lakewood man as the flagger killed in a crash Wednesday on a road construction project in Adams County.
Sean Keller, 51, was killed as he directed traffic around 2:50 p.m. at Lowell Blvd. and West 56th Way, said CSP's spokesman Trooper Gary Cutler.
An SUV struck Keller and he was pinned underneath the vehicle, Fox31 reported. Keller was pronounced dead at Denver Health Center.

CSP told Fox31 Keller was "directing traffic in both directions using a handheld 'STOP'/'SLOW' sign. He had just switched the sign to 'STOP,' which the driver failed to do, hitting Keller" the station reported. Keller was working for a private company, not the Colorado Department of Transportation, the station reported.
