  1. After more votes have been counted in the Denver mayoral election, Mike Johnston and Kelly Brough are officially headed to runoff. Johnston received more votes than any other candidate, winning 24.5%. Brough was second in the race, with 20% of the vote. (The Denver Post)
  2. A shooting on West 14th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in Lakewood has left two people dead and one in the hospital. The shooting occurred Thursday afternoon, which closed West 14th Avenue. (Fox 31)
  3. A student was carried out of the Colorado Capitol building during Wednesday's protests for gun reform. House Speaker Julie McCluskie says,"I am concerned with the response to the protest in the House Gallery. From what we have seen, it was clearly disproportionate to the students’ actions."   4. The owner of Chubby's, the famous Mexican-American restaurant in northern Denver, allegedly has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars from the company. The plaintiff's claim, "an independent analysis of all bank records of Chubby’s for the year 2020 revealed $323,865 in expenses that appear non-related to the operation of … Chubby’s."
