Old 121 Brewhouse To Open In Former Caution Brewery Location
A new brewery will take the place of Caution Brewery, which closed in June.

LAKEWOOD, CO – For Lakewood residents who feel the absence after the closing of Caution Brewery, there's a new beer joint on the horizon
Old 121 Brewery, named for Colorado State Highway 121 – which turns into Wadsworth Avenue – will host their grand opening next week on March 23 at 1057 S Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood.
"We're thrilled to be the newest members of the Lakewood community and look forward to serving our friends and neighbors for years to come," new owners Karla and Brett Zahrte, Eric Gupta and Jason Bailey posted on Facebook this week.

The group worked in local breweries and had been friends with Danny Wang, who owned Caution since 2013. The sale left Wang's beloved brewery in good hands, according to an article in Westword this week.
The brewery will feature the following beers:- Old 121 Lager
- Old 121 Belgian-style Pale Ale
- Old 121 IPA
- Old 121 Honey Brown Ale
- Old 121 Stout
- Old 121 Dry Irish Ale
The new business will also feature a collaboration with the Grateful Gnome Sandwich Shoppe & Brewery on tap, with an English-style Mild Ale called "tastes like beer - one star."

The company will also create its own line of craft sodas in-house. Rolling out at launch, or shortly thereafter, will be a root beer, cream ale, and soda made with hops. the shop will also feature a variety of flavored teas from Teakoe Tea, “Colorado's true tea manufacturer of premium whole leaf teas and craft brewed ice teas,” the company said.
Gator Mountain will be providing live music for the grand opening.
