  1. Denver's overdose deaths have declined by about 4% the past year. Deaths involving fentanyl, however, increased by roughly 3%. (9 News)
  2. 27 year old Jeremy Webster has received a life sentence without the possibility of parole for murdering a 13 year old during a case of road rage. Webster also shot at the child's mother and brother during the 2018 incident, the latter suffering from a brain injury and hearing loss. (Fox 31)
  3. Property assessments show a median residential increase of 36.5% in Jefferson County. Assessor Scot Kersgaard says, "For most people, property taxes probably will not go up by anything close to 36%." (9 News)
  4. A car was stolen from Denver East High School after school hours earlier this week. A man, who is not believed to be affiliated with the school, allegedly broke in and found a student's car keys. The car was found the following morning about five miles from the school. (Fox 31)
