  1. The Denver-Aurora-Lakewood area has the richest middle class in all of Colorado. The middle 20% of households in Lakewood annually earn between $72,213 and $111,148. 47.8% of adults in this area have a bachelor's degree, compared to the statewide 44.4%. (The Center Square)
  2. Richard Mesa, 65, was reported missing Monday in Lakewood. Mesa is 5-foot-9 and weights about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Lakers hat, Broncos jacket and black pants. (KRDO)
  3. Places like Lakewood's Bristlecone Shooting, Training and Retail Center allow residents to store their guns outside of their homes. This limits accidents and incidents of self-harm. The ability to store guns outside the home is more common in Colorado in other states. (Scripps News)
  4. Despite the record-breaking heat the Denver area has seen thus far this week, snow is expected as the weekend approaches. Friday, expect the high winds to continue with rain and the potential for snow as temperatures drop. (Fox 31)
