Here are the top stories in Lakewood today:

  1. A May 3 shooting that took the life of 33-year-old Denver man, Adam Michael Fresquez, is suspected to have been caused by a severe case of road rage. Edgewater police are currently searching for more information about the incident, which occurred between two Tesla drivers. Learn more at Fox 31.
  2. After part of the exhibition arrived damaged, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science has canceled its Jane Goodall exhibit that was set to open on May 19. The museum will still be teaching about Goodall and her findings by airing the film "Jane Goodall’s Reasons for Hope" on June 3. Read more at 9 News.
  3. With all the correct approvals and permits already granted to the business, residents are patiently waiting for Casa Bonita's reopening. Casa Bonita's spokesperson has offered no information as to why the opening has been delayed, but The Denver Post speculates it could have to do with training all the new employees. Find out more via The Denver Post.
  4. The United States Postal Inspection Service is searching for a Hispanic male in his 20s who attempted to rob a letter carrier. They are offering up to $50,000 for information regarding Denver's attempted robbery. Read more at Fox 31.
