Three Lakewood businesses were burglarized within 45 minutes by unknown suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and gloves, police said.

LAKEWOOD, CO – Three local businesses were burglarized early Monday morning in a series of "smash-and-grabs" Lakewood Police said Monday. Police said video surveillance showed multiple burglars wearing "gloves and hooded sweatshirts concealing their faces," who used a bat or crowbar to smash windows of the businesses. The suspects were "in and out in two or three minutes," police said.
- At 2:30 a.m., the unknown people smashed a window at the Conoco located at 1095 S. Wadsworth Blvd. and removed unknown merchandise.
- At 2:58 a.m. a second incident occurred at Super Smoke Shop, at 1890 S. Wadsworth Blvd.
- At 3:12 a.m., a third smash-and-grab took place at EZ Pawn located at 7620 W. Colfax Ave., police said.
Police believe the unknown suspects were driving a dark blue truck, possibly an "early 2000’s model Chevrolet or GMC 2500," the department said in a statement.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and the department would not be releasing any video surveillance images at this time.
