“I think we all know how nice it is to share a warm Thanksgiving meal with our friends and families, and yet nearly one in three Coloradans are facing food insecurity," said Pam Brier, Action Center executive director.
"Couple this with the fact that nearly 40 percent of Colorado households have seen a drop in income since the coronavirus pandemic began, many of these households will face an uncertain and difficult holiday season.
"It’s because of our wonderful community, and partnership with Terumo BCT, that we will be able to help these households ensure they are able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal through our Thanksgiving Grocery Box Distribution in November," Brier said.
"These donations will not only fill stomachs, they will fill homes with holiday warmth.”

This is a Patch social good project; Feeding America receives 100 percent of donations. Find out how you can donate in your community or find a food pantry near you.
