White Pickup Sought In Lakewood Pedestrian Hit And Run

LAKEWOOD, CO – Police are still seeking information about the driver of a white pickup truck that struck and killed a pedestrian in Lakewood last week.

At about 10:20 pm on Friday, March 22, Lakewood Police responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at West Colfax Avenue and Carr Street. An adult man, crossing West Colfax in the crosswalk was hit by a pickup traveling east on Colfax, police said.

Multiple witnesses told police a white Toyota extended-cab pickup truck hit the man and fled the scene continuing eastbound. Police said the vehicle will likely have front-end damage to the passenger side.

The pedestrian, identified by the Jefferson County Coroner as 60-year-old Christopher Clark of Denver, died at the scene, police said.
