LAKEWOOD, CO – A man was arrested in Lakewood on Wednesday after his wife was found shot dead in a Lakewood apartment complex, police said. Police got a call at 3:10 p.m. that a man with a gun had possibly shot a woman in an apartment at the at the Parkview Apartments complex at 9890 W. 26th Ave., Lakewood police said in a statement Thursday. Bruce Bagwell, 60, was taken into custody, "surrendering peacefully" after police surrounded an apartment.Police entered the unit and found Teresa Bagwell, 58, dead of an apparent gunshot wound, police said in a statement. Lakewood police confirmed the couple were man and wife. Bruce Bagwell faces first-degree murder charges.
