Woman Arrested In Fatal Lakewood Hit-And-Run Wreck
Joy Lynn Manzanares, 50, was arrested as the driver of a white pickup that hit a man in the crosswalk and then drove away.

LAKEWOOD, CO – Lakewood police arrested a woman in connection with the fatal accident that killed a pedestrian last week. Joy Lynn Manzanares, 50, turned herself into Lakewood Police on Wednesday.
She will likely face charges of failing to remain at scene of accident involving death or personal injuries, the department said in a press release.
Around 10:20 p.m. on March 22, Christopher Clark, 60, was crossing West Colfax Avenue at Carr Street in the crosswalk, when he was struck by a white pickup truck with an extended cab.

"It appears that Mr. Clark was attempting to cross the intersection at a red light when he was hit," the police said in a statement.
The truck allegedly driven by Manzanares didn't stop, witnesses said. Clark died at the scene.

Lakewood police asked the public for help identifying the driver of the truck.
