Avon Civic Group's Rummage Sale Has Lots To Offer

The event will take place on Saturday, May 17, to benefit the women's auxiliary at the organization.

AVON, CT — A local civic organization is hosting a fundraising rummage sale on Saturday that will potentially result in unearthed treasures and help community causes in the process.

The Prince Thomas of Savoy chapter in Avon is conducting its annual "Nonna's Attic Rummage Sale" at its headquarters at 32 Avon Old Farms Road, Avon, on Saturday, May 17.

It will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free, with credit cards accepted for purchases. No "early birds" are allowed at this event.

Proceeds benefit the causes of the Prince Thomas of Savoy Women's Auxiliary.

Even organizers said guests can expect to find a lot of good items at bargain prices.

Those include vintage/antique items, sporting goods, home decor, kitchenware, small appliances, toys, books, and more.

"Join us for a fantastic rummage sale filled with unique finds, vintage gems, and household essentials," wrote the chapter.
