Avon To Commemorate 'National Day Of Prayer'

AVON, CT — The public is invited to a special ceremony in Avon on Thursday, May 1, for the National Day of Prayer.

The event will take place at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon, from 8 to 9 a.m.

It will include various scriptures and prayers led by a variety of local clergy and religious leaders.

For those who cannot attend, the event in Avon will be livestreamed.
