Avon High School Gym May Get New Equipment
The Falcon Fixers, an Avon High School student group, are making the cause possible.
Students recently raised $2,500 after throwing a fundraiser at Healthtrax in town for new cardio equipment at Avon High School.
Falcon Fixers is a new "school improvement club" and the cause to bring ellipticals, treadmills and exercise bikes to the school's gym marked the club's first project, according to information club member SarahKatherine Mascoli posted on Patch.
The Avon High School PTO also donated $1,000, she said, and many businesses contributed.
"The sports teams, students, and staff will greatly benefit from this equipment," she wrote.
