She comes to the historical society's board of trustees with years of experience on nonprofits' boards, and will serve a three-year term.

AVON, CT — An Avon resident has been chosen to serve on the Connecticut Historical Society's board of trustees, officials announced this week.

Price, a co-founder of what has become Fairview Capital Partners, has served as a member of the CT Board of Regents for Higher Education, board chair of the Amistad Center for Art and Culture, and board chair of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
