Avon's Preschool Program Seeks 3-Year-Old Applicants For This Year

AVON, CT — The Avon School System's preschool program is still seeking applications for this year for 3-year-olds.

The pupils would attend the Avon Early Learning Center at Roaring Brook School, 30 Old Wheeler Road, Avon.

"Avon's preschool program offers an inclusive, developmentally-appropriate, language-based preschool experience for preschool-age children," wrote the school system in an announcement.

Participation is based on a lottery system.

In order to attend preschool, pupils must be toilet-trained; exhibit age-appropriate language, play, and social skills; and have turned 3 by Sept. 1.

Tuition for the year is $3,150, and applications will be accepted until the class is full.
