As part of National Drug Takeback Day, <a href="https://www.avonct.gov/home/news/prescription-drug-take-back-event-saturday-april-26th-9-am-to-1-pm-0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Avon Police Department will be at the Avon Senior Center, 635 West Avon Road, on Saturday, April 26.</a> They will be there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to collect old, expired, or no longer needed medication people might want to dispose of safely. This nationally recognized initiative provides a safe, convenient, and responsible method for disposing of unused or expired prescription medications.
