New Playground Opens In Avon

AVON, CT — Decked out in blue, the newest addition to the children's recreation scene in Avon is now fully operational.

Local officials Tuesday said the new Sycamore Hills playground has been installed and "is ready for playtime."

The playground is located at Sycamore Hills Recreation Area, 635 W. Avon Rd, Avon.

Local recreation officials said there will be activities planned at Sycamore now that it has a new playground to attract families.
