New Playgroup For Children With Autism Starts In Avon

The program takes place at the local library on the last Thursday of the month, starting April 27.

AVON, CT — A playgroup solely for children with autism will begin Thursday, April 27, at the Avon Free Public Library.

The free program is for children aged 18 months to 4 years old who are "neurodiverse and autistic."

Hosted by the Autism Cares Partners organization, the series will take place on the last Thursday of every month from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the library, 281 Country Club Road.

Toys, games and snacks will be provided and participants can RSVP to attend.
