A New Hartford man is still in custody after police said he left threatening voicemail messages on the work phone of a woman employed in Avon last weekend.
Colin Newcomb, 30, called an ex-aquaintance at her workplace and left about a half-an-hour's worth of voice messages, according to police. In the messages he threatened to hurt himself, police said. Avon police did not release the name of the business or the victim.
