Rent Your Housing? Avon Program To Look At Your Rights

The town is hosting a program this week at the local library about the rights of folks who rent their homes.

AVON, CT — The town is hosting a special forum on Thursday about the myriad rights those who rent have regarding housing issues.

Called"Know Your Rights as a Renter," the event will take place at the Avon Free Public Library's community room at 6 p.m. The library is located at 281 Country Club Road, Avon.

Guests will be able to join attorney Vivian Moreno-Zelinka from Greater Hartford Legal Aid for an event aimed at helping renters understand their legal protections and responsibilities.
