Ribbon Cut At New Tire/Auto Repair Chain In Avon

AVON, CT — Local and company dignitaries flocked to Avon Friday for the grand opening of a new automotive/tire center in town.

Bridgestone Retail Operations, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Inc. (Bridgestone), officially opened the doors of its newest Firestone Complete Auto Care tire and automotive service center in town.

The celebratory event welcomed special guests from across the community.

The new store, located at 225 W. Main St., Avon, is the first in the Avon area.

The location features newly designed in-store experiences, including digital displays providing real-time service updates and the latest automotive service technologies and equipment for quicker repairs.

The grand opening event included remarks from company leaders, an official ribbon cutting and a donation presentation to the Boys and Girls Club of Bristol as part of the Bridgestone Driving Great Futures initiative.
