See the Stars and Explore the Great Outdoors with TMSC

Family fun for all ages! Explore the great outdoors with hands-on activities, a planetarium show and views of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

Fun for the whole family! Join us at the Talcott Mountain Science Center on Thursday, June 23 at 7:30pm* for an exciting and enlightening evening observing the night sky from the top of Talcott Mountain.

What do rocks, trees, the weather, birds and the sky all have in common? They're all part of the great outdoors! Join us to learn about these things and more with fun, hands-on activities for all ages!

Afterwards, we'll move into our planetarium to learn more about the stars, planets and other objects that fascinate us in the night sky. Then we'll head to our final skygazing destination atop Talcott Mountain. With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, we'll look for stars, planets (including Saturn, Jupiter, Mars) and other celestial gems.
