Thanks to the <a href="https://www.farmingtonvalleyvna.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Farmington Valley Visiting Nurse Association</a>, which is located in Simsbury, folks visiting Avon Town Hall on the third Tuesday of the month can get free blood sugar and blood pressure screening. Taking those two, basic tests can provide early insight to a litany of potential health problems ranging from diabetes to heart disease to high blood pressure. The testing will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Building No. 1 inside the Avon Roo, which is located on the lower level for easy access.
