Time Is Now To Get New Avon Dump Permits

AVON, CT — Folks utilizing the Avon Transfer Station with 2024-25 permits can still dump their stuff there for now.

But starting July 1, when the next fiscal year starts, they will need a new permit for 2025-26.

The good news is the Town of Avon now has those permits for sale, and they're available in the Avon Collector of Revenue's office, Avon Town Hall, 60 W. Main St., Building No. 2.

The fees to use the transfer station, which is located at 281 Huckleberry Hill Road, Avon, are $125 for a residential permit, $65 for a senior older than 62, and $40 for a recyclables permit.

They can be purchased either by cash or chack at the office or online by e-cheque and/or credit/debit card.
