Friday Night Flights
When: Friday, May 24 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Where: The Yoga Shop WEST (Avon), 136 Simsbury Rd., Avon, CT 06001
What: Join KB for a session of "Deep Dive," where you'll learn to elevate your yoga practice by mastering inversions, such as headstands, forearm stands, handstands and funky pincha. This workshop is designed to meet you at your current skill level and help integrate these new techniques into your daily routine, all for $35.

Farm Tour Experience at Auerfarm
When: Saturday, May 25 - 8:00-10:30 a.m.
Where: Auer Farm, 58 Auer Farm Road Bloomfield, CT 06002
What: Become a farmer for the day for $25 at the Farm Tour Experience at Auerfarm, located about 15 minutes from Avon. The 2.5-hour barn tour immerses you in the daily life of a working farm where you can participate in feeding a variety of animals, collect eggs from the coop, brush the friendly donkeys, cuddle a fluffy rabbit and learn all about these fascinating creatures.
Coaster Epoxy Workshop with Holly Epoxy
When: Saturday, May 25 - 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Where: The Bristol Bazaar, 67 Race St., Bristol, CT 06010
What: Unleash your creativity at the Holly Epoxy workshop and create a group of four coasters (wood or ceramic) with epoxy resin. This beginner-friendly workshop located 30 minutes from Avon is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new skill and have some artistic fun. Tickets are available online for $55 plus fees.

The Sea Tea Improv Family Show!
When: Sunday, May 26 - 2:00 p.m.
Where: Sea Tea Comedy Theater, 15 Asylum St., Hartford, CT 06103
What: Located less than 25 minutes from Avon, Sea Tea Comedy Theater will host a family-friendly improv show. Enjoy this interactive performance, with kids and adults having a chance to participate in the games onstage. General admission tickets are available online for $10 plus fees, and children’s admission 12 and under are $5 plus fees.
