Berlin High Track Off Limits To Public
The town closed the walking track this week as workers continue to replace the grass field at the stadium with artificial turf.
BERLIN, CT — Folks who enjoy walking the track at Berlin High School will have to wait a while or find a new place to get their steps in.
That's because the town announced this week that the track at Biscoglio Field at BHS is closed as work crews install a new turf field at the stadium.
Work actually began on Monday, June 12, and continues all week.

Crews are replacing the former natural grass field with a synthetic turf surface, a growing trend in sports that is seen as a cost-reducing measure because it saves on maintenance costs.
