Berlin Library Hosting Quirky Writing Contest
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library this month is asking folks to submit one sentence with words starting with the same letter.
BERLIN, CT — The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is looking for the public's creativity — one sentence at a time.
The library's latest contest, which started Aug. 1 and concludes Aug. 31, only requires one sentence.
Of course, the library's writing contest does have a twist — all the words must start with the same letter.

The library's "Alliteration Contest" simply asks participants to use key words with the same letter, but folks can still use particles like "the," "and," "but," and "to."
All participants get a custom bookmark, and the winner gets an extra ticket to the All-Star Reading Challenge raffle.

Of course, the library asks that folks keep it clean, as the subject matter must be appropriate for the library to display on social media and in the library.
