Berlin Library Seeks Teen Volunteers This Summer
The library is especially seeking those entering grades 7-12 this fall for volunteer work regarding its summer reading program.
BERLIN, CT — The local library is looking for an army of young volunteers to help the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library operate and run programs this summer.
Topping the library's summer to-do list is the annual summer reading program.
"Summer is right around the corner and we are looking for volunteers to help with our summer reading program this year," wrote the library, which is located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin, recently.

Volunteers are especially sought from those entering grades 7-12 this fall.
Sign-ups are being sought for both new library volunteers and those who've done so in the past.

In addition to helping fight summer boredom that can creep in, volunteering at the library can assist with any high school graduation requirements mandating community service.
