Dumping Your Christmas Tree In Berlin, What You Need To Know
The Town of Berlin has released its policies and procedures on how residents can properly dispose of their natural Christmas trees.

BERLIN, CT — Christmas is over, and what to do with the tree is now the top priority rather than what will go under it.
Berlin officials recently informed residents about what they can do to properly dispose of their natural Christmas trees this year.

Berlin residents are reminded of the options available to dispose of fresh cutChristmas trees.
Trees will be collected curbside (on, or near, the collection day) the week of Jan. 19, and must be at least 6 feet away from the automated collection cart so as not to interfere with the disposal of household refuse.

Fresh-cut trees will also be accepted at the Town of Berlin Recycling Center at 19 Town Farm Lane during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, from 7:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays (Jan. 10 and 24), from 8 a.m. to noon.
