BERLIN, CT — The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced its third round of 2022 scholarship winners, and a Berlin student made the list.

Students included in this round were chosen by officials at the college or university they plan to attend, and were picked from a list of 2022 National Merit Scholarship finalists who have enrolled in their institution.

Paul M. Kendrick, a senior at Berlin High School who plans to study computer science, was among the over 2,600 winners of college-financed National Merit Scholarships.

Though officials didn't specify the amount of money Kendrick will receive, the awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the school offering the scholarship.
