A "Story Walk" is a series of sign boards erected along a trail that allows families to stroll the grounds and stop and read the book.

Such features prove to be a great help to parents, as the "Story Walks" allow them to get their children to exercise while maintaining focus en route to the book's next page.

Open in Berlin from Saturday, Oct. 19, to Nov. 16, "Story Walk" will feature author Linda Kranz's work "You Be You."

To celebrate the opening, the library will host rock painting from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 19.
