Cool Down With Hot Summer Library Programs

Summer Reading– come in and pick up your summer reading form. Children may read or listen to one book and have their photo taken. Children who read or listen for 40 days earn a paperback book.
 
Family storytime - Thursday, July 5, 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. – stars and the moon

Playtime - Friday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Storytime for birth to age 3 - Monday, July 9,  10:30 a.m.

Construction Club - Monday, July 9, 1 p.m. – Build with Legos For Grades 1–4  Registration required.

Kitchen Science Fun - Tuesdays, July 10, 1 to 2 p.m. For grades 3-5 - Registration required.

New Britain Symphony – Beatles music on the front lawn – All Ages  No registration - Wed., July 11, 6:30 p.m.

Teresa Pelham – author of Roxy’s Forever Home comes to share their story. Tuesday, July 17, 7 p.m. All ages. With her little brown dog by her side, Farmington author Teresa Pelham will tell children (and adults!) the story of how her little Roxy was rescued in Tennessee and brought to her family in Connecticut. Teresa and Roxy will be delighted to sign copies of her new children’s book “Roxy’s Forever Home,” which will be available for purchase ($18 including tax). A hefty portion of proceeds from the book will go directly to dog rescuers.
