State officials had suspended the liquor license of the Himalaya Restaurant on Farmington Avenue.
BERLIN, CT — A local restaurant specializing in Indian and Nepalese food was in hot water with the State of Connecticut's Department of Consumer Protection.

According to the state, the restaurant's owners have violated regulations regarding applying for permits/renewals, as well as renewal applications.
Krasselt said the operation "did not submit their fire marshal certificate by the appropriate deadline. By statute, their license had to be suspended until they submitted it."
