Motorist Rushed To Hospital After Berlin Car Fire: BVFD
The accident on Tuesday morning closed a busy stretch of Berlin roadway.

BERLIN, CT — One motorist was rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning after a fiery crash on Chamberlin Highway.
According to the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, the roadway reopened at 4:45 a.m. after the single-vehicle crash saw the car burst into flames afterward.
The fire department posted several images of the inferno, which showed a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

The BVFD said the blaze was tended to by companies 4 and 3, who went to the 1600 block of Chamberlin Highway.
Fire officials said a single occupant was taken to an area hospital with reported "non-life-threatening injuries."

Initially, Chamberlin Highway was closed between Southington Road and Orchard Road.
