New McDonald's, Goodwill Store Coming To Berlin

Both will open soon on a recently redeveloped site along a busy stretch in Berlin's commercial center.

BERLIN, CT — A busy section of the Berlin Turnpike will soon have a new fast-food restaurant and a charitable discount retailer in a busy section of Berlin's commercial development.

According to Summit Realty Partners out of Lexington, Mass., both a new McDonald's restaurant and a Goodwill store are tabbed forthe property it is marketing at 337 Berlin Turnpike.

McDonald's, of course, is a well-known fast food chain specializing in burgers, fries, and breakfast, while Goodwill is a charitable non-profit that takes donations from the public and sells them to benefit charities.

There is currently a McDonald's at 185 New Britain Road, Berlin.

A flyer by Summit advertising available commercial property for lease at the site indicates a McDonald's and a Goodwill store are "coming soon."

Meanwhile, the site has four other spots for lease at the site, which is located at the intersection of Berlin Turnpike and Deming Road.

The entire parcel is 10 acres with a total building space listed at 60,000 square feet.

"337 Berlin Turnpike is a retail development with an industrial component on an approximately 10-acre site along Central Connecticut’s most traveled commercial corridors," reads the real estate listing for the site.

" This newly developed center will feature a new McDonald’s and Goodwill, drawing consistent consumer traffic and enhancing the property’s overall visibility. Located within a dense retail corridor surrounded by national brands such as Home Depot, Starbucks, Chipotle, and Kohl's."
