• Cadillac-Driving Bank Robbery Suspect In Custody: Berlin PD (patch.com) — Berlin residents are learning more about the New Year’s Eve bank robbery at Webster Bank on Webster Square Road, as police say the Cadillac-driving suspect has now turned himself in. Berlin police, working with state and federal authorities, executed search warrants in North Haven, located the gray 2020 Cadillac, and secured an arrest warrant, leading to charges of second-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.
   

• Hungerford Nature Center Hosting WinterFest 2026 (newbritainindependent.com) — Families in Berlin can look forward to WinterFest 2026 at Hungerford Nature Center on February 7, with two daytime sessions featuring trails, animal ambassadors, and hands-on winter activities. Registration supports the center’s mission to connect families with nature and care for local habitats, and the event takes place at 191 Farmington Avenue in town.
