Police Looking For Info On Motorcycle Accident
Passenger was seriously injured in crash.

On Monday April 16, at approximately 7:25 a.m. a motorcycle traveling
northbound on Main Street, East Berlin took a left onto Rt. 372 (Mill
St.) and drove over a slippery fluid believed to be engine oil. The motorcycle lost control and crashed.
The operator and passenger of the motorcycle were thrown from the motorcycle. The operator sustained minor injuries while the passenger suffered serious head injuries.
Both victims were taken to Hartford Hospital by ambulance.
The vehicle responsible for the engine oil leak was traveling westbound
on Rt. 372 (Mill St.) and was not located. Anyone who witnessed or has
information about this accident is asked to contact Traffic Officer Robert Canto at (860) 828-7082.
