BOY'S TENNIS

Tolland 6, Berlin 1

When these two teams played at Tolland on April 24, Tolland won 6-1. This time under the lights at Berlin the score was the same but Berlin was much more competitive.

Freshman Dan Rombola won a tough match against Tolland’s freshman number one, Andrew Schadt a month ago but this time the freshman earned some measure of revenge in a hard fought match 6-4, 7-5. Matt Trevethan won his match at number four singles.

This was the last match of the season for Redcoats. Dan Rombola will continue to play in the state Class “M” tournament starting Wednesday, May 30, at Yale.
