Weekly Programs: June 18 to August 24
Summer Reading Program: Dream Big - Read. Read one book and have your photo taken. Read 40 days and earn a paperback book.

Storytimes for Infants and Toddlers
Mondays at 10:30 a.m.: Birth to age 3 - No registration. Began June 18.

Family Storytimes

Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. All ages – began June 21 - weekly
No registration. Storytimes at 10:30 a.m. only on Aug 16 and 23.

Playtime

Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon: An informal gathering for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and parents. No registration, held weekly.

Star Lab - Wednesday, June 27, 6:00 p.m. Grades 3 and up - Registration begins June 11. Discover the night sky and constellations.

New Britain Symphony – Wed., July 11, 6:30 p.m. Beatles music on the front lawn – All Ages – No registration – Bring your lawn chair. 

Teresa Pelham – author of Roxy’s Forever Home Tuesday, July 17, 7 p.m.
Meet the author and learn about dogs needing ‘forever homes.’

Owls –Horizon Wings –Wed., August 8, 1:30 p.m. Ages 5 & up - Registration begins July 30. Rehab live birds of prey.

Kitchen Science Fun

Tuesdays, July 10, 17, 24, 31, 1 to 2 p.m. Grades 3-5- Registration begins June 25. Simple science experiments using food. Snacks & fun.

Making Music

Monday, July 16, 1 p.m. Ages 4-8, Registration begins July 2. Make musical instruments & have fun.

Talent Show

Wednesday, July 25, 7 p.m. For Grades 1-8. Show a yo-yo trick, sing, act, do magic, read a poem! Registration begins July 9. All participants must audition on Monday, July 23 between 1 and 5 p.m.

Cooking for Kids

Monday, August 6, 1 to 2 p.m. Smoothies - Grades 1 & up – Registration begins July 23.

Afternoon Film

Tuesday, August 21 at 1 p.m. - Garfield’s Summer Adventures – all ages, drop-in.
