Suspicous Package Leads To Evacuation On Worthington Ridge

Several homes on Worthington Ridge were evacuated Sunday late afternoon when a resident found a suspicious package on their driveway according to Berlin Police.

The State Police Bomb Squad was called in to investigate the package but it found that the package was not of any danger to the neighborhood. 

The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. and residents were able to return to their homes a few hours later.

A press release said an arrest is imminent.
