Who's Who Of Berlin Dedicates New High School Field

Local officials gathered at Biscoglio Field to cut the ribbon and officially declare the recently renovated field open for the spring.

BERLIN, CT — Local officials and dignataries were out at Berlin High School Tuesday to dedicate a brand-new, state-of-the-art athletics field.

The dedication ceremonies were attended by a who's who of Berlin, including: Berlin Mayor Mark Kaczynski; Berlin Town Council members; Berlin Parks and Recreation Commission members; Berlin High School Athletic Director Dave Francalangia; state Rep. Jack Fazzino, D-Berlin; former Speaker of the House Joe Aresimowicz; Town of Berlin board and commission members; youth group field users; and town staff

They all gathered at Biscoglio Field at BHS to cut the ribbon and officially declare the recently renovated field open for the spring season.

"The field was upgraded to a synthetic turf surface, which will create wonderful opportunities for our high school and youth programs," wrote the town.
