YMCA To Offer Financial Literacy Course

Fall offering will help with financial planning.

The New Britain – Berlin YMCA will be offering an exciting new Financial Literacy course this fall. We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! The average family pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 in the first 90 days!

Through video teaching, class discussions & interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

The YMCA is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University on Monday nights starting September 10. The updated course runs 9 weeks and is only 90 minutes a night. The YMCA is offering childcare during the class session.

Discounts are available to YMCA members and to those in financial need. Please attend one of our FPU Preview Sessions, August 27 and September 5 at 7 p.m.  to learn more. For more information, contact the Business Manager at the New Britain - Berlin YMCA at (860) 229-3787 or in person at 50 High St. New Britain, CT 06051.
