After 2 Fatal North Ivy St Fires, Fire Alarm Outreach Program Underway

BRANFORD, CT — In response to recent deadly structure fires in town, Branford's bravest have partnered with the American Red Cross, the East Shore District Health Department and the town, to provide an outreach program about fire safety and includes free smoke alarms.

Smoke alarms save lives is the message of the program, dubbed 'Sound the Alarm; Save A Life.'

"Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death from home fires in half," the Red Cross notes.
