Branford Police Blotter: Cruelty to Animals, DUI, Threatening

The following arrest information was provided by the Branford Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Qawi Abdul-Wakil, 44, of South Main Street in Jewett City, was charged on Dec. 4 with fifth-degree larceny. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 17. Arresting officer: Lawrence Rooney.

David E. Alvarado, 32, of Chamberlain Street in New Haven, was charged Dec. 4 with interfering with an officer. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 17. Arresting officer: John J. Cassella.

Felix A. Baez, 45, of Howard Avenue in New Haven, was charged Dec. 4 with operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence, failure to drive in a proper lane and operating without a license. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18. Arresting officer: David J. Atkinson.

Angelo Basso, 35, of Main Street in Branford, was charged Dec. 4 with possession of narcotics and threatening. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 17. Arresting officer: Dominick B. Eula. 

Anthony J. Dellamorte, 25, of Forbes Avenue in New Haven, was charged Dec. 4 with violation of probation. He was scheduled to appear Dec. 5. Arresting officer: Josef J. Herten.

Kevin Millman, 35, of Chestnut Street in Branford, was charged Dec. 4 with cruelty to animals, allowing a dog to roam and failure to redeem an impounded dog, cat or other animal. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 17. Arresting officer: Evelyn Vandewarker.
